Our tasting room at the historic Grey Mule Saloon provides wine tasting and sales of wine, wine accessories, as well as insights to our vineyard, wine grape growing and winemaking.

The Grey Mule Saloon was built in the 1880’s to serve Texas Rangers, cowboys passing through the area and the U.S. Army troops stationed there that provided protection for the settlers and for the San Antonio - El Paso road. It was one of the original adobe structures built in the period of the Officers’ Quarters (1867 and 1868), the Guardhouse (1868) and lastly the Koehler store (1894). Today, it is a historical landmark located across the street from the Annie Riggs Hotel and Museum built in 1899.

Our tasting room is a great place for an elegant occasion offering a pleasant patio for parties. The dining room is available for small groups as well. Call us for event pricing, 432-336-9463.
